Criterion A
Inquiry question - rewrite, rewrite, rewrite until it is perfect
Inquiry question - us one the of AO3: Evaluation & Synthesis Definitions command terms:
Compare = Give an account of the similarities between two (or more) items or situations, referring to both (all) of them throughout.
Compare & Contrast = Give an account of similarities and differences between two (or more) items or situations, referring to both (all) of them throughout.
Contrast = Give an account of the differences between two (or more) items or situations, referring to both (all) of them throughout.
Discuss = Offer a considered and balanced review that includes a range of arguments, factors or hypotheses. Opinions or conclusions should be presented clearly and supported by appropriate evidence.
Examine = Consider an argument or concept in a way that uncovers the assumptions and interrelationships of the issue.
Evaluate = Make an appraisal by weighing up the strengths and limitations.
Justify = Give valid reasons or evidence to support an answer or conclusion.
Recommend = Present an advisable course of action with appropriate supporting evidence/reason in relation to a given situation, problem or issue.
To what extent = Consider the merits or otherwise of an argument or concept. Opinions and conclusions should be presented clearly and supported with appropriate evidence and sound arguments.
Inquiry Focus = must clearly identify the Digital Technology you will focus on
Vocabulary = demonstrate a precise use of terminology which is specific to Digital Society
Key idea/words/terminology = when needed, state the word/idea and then provide a brief explanation so that you (a) demonstrate your depth of knowledge and (b) make the body of work more accessible to any reader.
There needs to be a clear, obvious and thorough connection between your inquiry question and a specific, relevant real-world example

HEADING: Inquiry Focus Criterion A:
SUB HEADING: word count: 300 words
SUB HEADING: inquiry question: state your questions clearly then write a paragraph that expands and explains the research focus. This section needs a powerful question that can be adequately researched and the research moves beyond description to analysis and evaluation
SUB HEADING: real-life example: Clearly identify, explain and cite a relevant and specific real-world example(s) and be sure to clearly identify the digital systems and/or digital technologies involved in your research (subject-specific terminology)

Grade 7
Demonstrates: conceptual awareness, insight, and knowledge and understanding which are evident in the skills of critical thinking; a high level of ability to provide answers which are fully developed, structured in a logical and coherent manner and illustrated with appropriate examples; a precise use of terminology which is specific to the subject; familiarity with the literature of the subject; the ability to analyse and evaluate evidence and to synthesize knowledge and concepts; awareness of alternative points of view and subjective and ideological biases, and the ability to come to reasonable, albeit tentative, conclusions; consistent evidence of critical reflective thinking; a high level of proficiency in analysing and evaluating data or problem solving.
